She looks so pretty

This past Sunday, Vince and I spent the afternoon cleaning house and moving furniture around. What a wonderful way to spend a lazy afternoon… note my sarcasm. It was hard work but at the end of it we enjoyed a lovely cup of tea together. Seeing our home looking sparkly clean was well worth all the hard work.

During all the vacuuming, dusting, mopping and moving of furniture, my little round table found a new home. It now lives peacefully in the corner near our front door, which is perfect because that corner was so bare before. And, BONUS, it hides the plug point that has been staring me in the face for the last few months. Now all I see my beautiful round table that was once an ugly duckling. I rescued her from my Dad’s workshop and gave her an extreme makeover. I wish I had a before shot, but trust me, she was REALLY ugly. Vince didn’t think it was possible to make her look good. But look at her now, I think she looks fantastic!!!!

A Beautiful Morning

I woke up to the most beautiful morning. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and everyone was in a great mood. I took my time getting ready for work, I pottered around the house doing washing and spending time with my two furry babies, until Peanut decided that sunning himself on the deck while enjoying the scenery was a way better idea than getting loves and cuddles from his mom.

I love my Peanut with all my heart. My special boy. xxx
